Letter To The Editor:
The Kiwanis Club of Jefferson would like to thank everyone who has supported our mission by placing their cans and bottles in the Kiwanis recycling cage by the Shopko parking lot. Monies raised through all of our fundraisers, including the pancake breakfast, service auction, and grilling at Bell Tower Festival, the county fair, farmers market and other events, have allowed us to support a number of worthy causes locally. Kiwanis donates to Adopt a Family, ARC, Boy Scouts, Early Learning Center, Genesis, Habitat For Humanity, Jefferson Matters, library youth programs, Teen Maze, Little League, mentoring, RIF, as well as local youth scholarships.
Please remember to support the Kiwanis efforts by using the Kiwanis recycling cage by Shopko this holiday season and in the new year. Your support is important and makes a big difference right here in Greene County!
